Cheers Brigg was going to say halifax/manchester/sterling suppose you could include them ............ aswell as the DeHav sea hornet as an online plane for using against the ships in strike

thanks, as much as i love fighters i do have a soft spot bombers as i live in bomber county and all apart from the manchester were based at elsham airfield during the war which is 2 miles from my house. and a bonus is my nextdoor neighbour is a member of the lancaster association so i get everything they send him passed on to me. yes i agree it would be cool to have the proper planes to atack ships.

yes thats the one just came accross it when i was making my list

Lavochkin La-11 (Fang)

La-134 - Prototype Designation; based on the Lavochkin La-9.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
La-134D - Second Prototype Designation; increased fuel and range via improved fuel tank space and underwing fuel tanks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
La-11 - Base Production Fighter Designation

also you could add

Tupolev SB-2 and the Sukhoi Su-2 bombers

I would like the Swordfish torpedo bomber in there to add a bit of attacking variety when going on Strike against ships. Not much use if you are attacking ground targets though, although I am sure a torpedo dropped on a bunker would make quite a hole!

Would be nice to have the La-9 or La-11, but both unfortunately weren't built until 1946 and 1947. Besides, they were both inferior in Vertical and Horizontal flight compared to the greatest Soviet prop fighter... the Yak-3!!!
