As the mythical release date draws closer, who can help but salivate Pavlovian-style at the thought of SoW? Hell, we can see women in short skirts (short-shorts, tight jeans, etc) every day (and we do). How often do you see news of SoW? Sure, real life goes on. No denying that, but mostly it's bad news every day (will South Korea retaliate against NK for torpedoing one of it's warships, killing 46 sailors? Can Greece really pay back the billions of Euros in loans? Will The U.S. have to learn to speak Chinese as a nation of indentured servants? Will that finally mean full employment?)

So let me daydream of trying to get a squirt an an enemy fighter in a new sim that runs halfway decently on my system (when I get one). Let me fancy the living and dying in the virtual world of air combat over the south of England.

Wait! Wait! Hot legs at O'Clock!

I think it was sometime is 2004 when BoB was first announced as being in the works.
That seems like a long time (it really is) but will all seem worth the wait when we finally have a copy in our hands.

Default just thinking out loud...

Does anyone else here wonder what Oleg might have shown President Medvedev, or might be demonstrating at this Game conference that he has not shown to his faithful followers? Maybe he's lining up further financial support, or other business aspects of SoW. I wonder if there is a spy at the conference who might be preparing to spring some major news on us about SoW. Nah! I shouldn't let my imagination run wild. Still, things that make you go "hmmmm...."

It is customary before a game release to release a demo of the game.
So people can get a idea what the game is like.
Prolly the Russian President was playing the SOW demo and secured a few copies for his buddies back home.
Now President Medvedev have some flying hours to improve his uber skillz he is sure he can beat us all online.
I think the demo will be released as soon as President Medvedev gives the OK
