After the war the Soviet Union had an aerobatic team flying at La-7. But the pilots changed their planes as fast as designers made new aircrafts. La-7 > Yak-15/Yak-17 > MiG-15 > MiG-17 > MiG-19.... |

I'd love to know what sort of equipment they use to control those aircraft so precisely. That is beautiful flying and a very nice video presentation too.
Cheers, MP

From joysticks we basically use different Saiteks (from 3D Gold till X52). Also some of our pilots use pedals and TrackIRs.

Seriously, that's pretty impressive! I find it hard to keep a straight line and speed, let-alone fly with another aircraft so close! Is a lot of it flown on trim, or do you set dead-bands very tight or loose?
Excellent flying! Cheers, MP

Thanks for the comment. PS: Also I can say that if you began to try to fly in formation at Yak-3 it will be very hard for you. Try to begin with Mustang. Yak was rather uncomfortable even for us. FW_Mess |
