Thanks again everyone, I was able to complete the mission, only to get mired in the "Hornet's Nest". I expect I'll be in there quite awhile from the way it's going...lol (any and all advice appreciated, and yes, I've seen the thread)

holly,
just got thru the hornets nest in arcade( finally)!! I think there is a glitch in the program. if you sink a few round into a ju52 the red bounding target box dissapears....but that doesnt mean the ship is done for. on this attempt i headed into the gaggle, ordered my squadron to attack, and when i got close i let loose with every rocket i had ( silly but i did manage to get about 8 with rockets). before i left that area i scanned for those "unmarked targets" and there were a few...shot them down then headed off to the next group...immeadiately ordered the SQ to attack and repeated what i did above.
just do a final sweep of the area ( they stay close to formation ) before bugging out to the next group and work that command button. After that you will get the order to attack ground targets at the airfield...again its the yellow ones you want....then bug out back to base but the 'schmitts will be buzzing like hornets. the biggest consulation is after these two tough missions the next several are cake ( or are in comparison...). G' luck

Good to find a thread like this with a quick first searching! I to am stuck on deep raid in realistic mode - and not killing ANY of the targets I was supposed to no matter WHAT I bombed or shot-up! Will try from the North next time.

Retroactive thanks to all!

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been online in a few days. I'll try your suggestions bobbysocks, thanks so much and congrats on getting through the Nest! I'll be back on after and let you know how it works out for me. Thanks again mate!
