Takes a bit of configuring but it's fully mappable. I use my ps3 controller.

Try taking off in a fully-loaded f9

Ok, the thrustmaster works - but only the buttons.. The rudder, throttle and stick have no input?? (its definately on PC settings)

from main menu, /settings/joysticks

it should list every device your pc recognizes.

If you can't get the TM to work, try your console controller

And you picked "start flight" from the left menu when the scenario started, right? Otherwise it would just show a nice rotatable picture of a plane.

Look on the Wiki, I guess... that's where the troubleshooting info is

Yeah, i hit E the engine starts and that's about it.. I cant do anything else apart from fire weapons (The engine is set at like 50% and rudder seems to be set in prop planes as they just spin round.. [could be torque?] Its like having a jet car with no steering wheel...)

I will, thanks..

Oh, I think I get it... you need to either map the throttle to an axis, or unmap it from all axes and then map increase/decrease throttle to the keyboard. There should already be default ones mapped, but if the throttle is mapped to an axis, the axis would override the keys.

You might need to reverse the throttle axis, too. I used the right stick of my sixaxis for throttle, and every time I pushed up, it went to idle speed. Then for a while I had the rudder and throttle on the same axis, but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't maintain altitude without losing control of the plane
