Same here, my PC is more that capable to run this game as it exceeds the recommended requirements but I was experiencing crashes almost every time I played, so i installed the latest DirectX and also latest GF card driver for my card, it has for the time being (touch wood) gotten rid of this problem.
Yes, the game needs a patch soon.
