LOL no it most definitely wasn't you mate - but then I can't talk. I always seem to have the most crashes. Occupational hazard of trying to look around while banking at treetop level. And also, I swear they've patched the hills to jump out in front of you now...

It does happen, but it is definitely way better than it used to be. Before the patch my spitfire would tip 9/10 landings, but since the patch its more like 1/10.

The problem here is simply that flaps don't reset to raised when you respawn. So if you have landing, take off or combat flaps engaged when you die, then respawn and hit WEP without raising them, they will jam. If you remember to raise them before going after more blood you will be fine.

I wouldn't say it's as bad as ever, but it is certainly still present. But like the kills not awarded and landing tip, it's vastly improved.
