I'll take that on board, in the mean time, when a moderator tells us to we shall, otherwise get over yourself. We're having a perfectly friendly chat that does not concern you.

I respectfully disagree. I think it's reasonable for somebody to want their thread to stay on topic. Especially because there aren't really any mods here to tell you to do otherwise, we all need to work things out amongst ourselves.

respectfully there's nothing we can work out amongst ourselves, the dev's as you say aren't here, and don't care. The update will come when it will come, and one petty boycott petition won't change a thing, so frankly a friendly conversation between a couple of people doesn't really make any odds to a thread that will go as un-noticed as the many others on this forum.

True, but you didn't have to bite his head off.

Wow, what gives Dr. House? You are a big time member of this community (or at least used to be), the guy just made a request. If you are having a conversation that doesn't concern the original poster then use PMs. No disrespect intended.

Anyway, I'm in the camp of waiting for the patch but still playing.

Understood, but in a largely pointless thread I fail to see how it hurts, and by tomorrow morning, there will be countless posts once the Americans come online whilst we're in bed, and the tin, perfectly innocent and ultimately harmless conversation will have drifted several pages behind the final last page link.

This is also noting that the conversation was brought to a head

And no disrespect taken, or meant.

I guess we're all kind of on edge around here. It seems the community is just grasping at straws trying everything they can think of to make something happen.

Heh, now I'm guilty of having a friendly conversation with you and driving off topic

don't get me wrong, I WISH they'd fix it, I WISH that this would do some good, truly I do. I get it, there's a boat load of flaming going on, (although as someone else commented, you should see the OpFlash forums, anyone who says anything negative is getting banned and their posts deleted pretty much)

but the Devs don't read this, they have their own separate forum to ignore. I think alot of people are going to be VERY disappointed by the patch, and after all this whining, and waiting, and boycotting, they'll get the patch and be absolutely heart broken that it doesn't cover 1/4 of the problems. But frankly they have no-one to blame but themselves when people start trading in their games, for Modern Warfare 2 :S
