Not sure, I've had it for over 2 years without any problems whatsoever, and I was downloading some arcade content which kept failing, so I turned it off and back on again except it wouldn't come back on again.

I know some people get lots of trouble, but I've always been fine, guess it was saving itself up

and its MFR: 2007-08-13 so 13th August 2007 I'm guessing. (2 Years, 2 Months, and 3 Days old)

I've got all the stuff to post it off just need to take it to the post office now, if they're not having ANOTHER one of their delightfully lazy strikes.

Ouch. I'm scared my XBox may go down soon too, it's been making some strange noises and being a bit louder than usual. Or maybe it's just my imagination...

Advantage of the XBOX is that MS does 1 thing well: repairing. Especially with the problems the first batch had.. they did a good job.

Yeah I got one of those fans too, and I did remove it and try again but it just won't start, if it was a car then it would be the starter motor... it tries, but there's nothing there, basically it's the cooling silicon fluid pouch thingymabobs leaking over the CPU chips. But I'm not messing with that, I've seen the videos on you tube of how to do it, and it can off sod lol I'm gonna take the 2-3 week wait and let someone capable do it

Thats sucks man

My 2 and a half year old 360, went RRoD in middle of the summer. Got a refurbished one back just a week after UPS picked it up. And you can track on it's travels if you wish.

Don't worry, I will look after Red Wing for you
