I do not disagree or condemn this statement. However, I've never met anyone who wasn't somewhat "arrogant or proud" of where they come from. Americans by NO means have a monopoly on arrogance.

Personally I will wait to buy this game until a patch or two comes out (especially for the "german cockpits"-issue and hopefully improved performance).

I'm not too concered about the game's longevity though. The community for a game like this will probably live longer than say, FPS games where there's always something "bigger and better" coming soon (modern warfare 2, anyone?). I think BoP will be the ONLY option for a realistic console flight sim for a long time, so hopefully there will be (enough) players to show that.
