Crashing in fights, constantly

Hello, lately, when I try to play King's Bounty, it crashes all the time in the fights. I can't progress in the game anymore. It was working just fine before, and now this just started happening suddenly. Please don't tell me it's because I'm running Windows 7, because it worked just fine a week ago.
