All the racing games I play have the car movement on the left stick/d-pad and then the gas/brake with the buttons on the right. So... this configuration with the pitch/movement on the left stick seems OK to me. Although I have yet to play the demo...

I suppose an option to switch this layout back and forth on the sequel would then please everyone...
