Screen Flashing

Hi, just installed the game and it works fine apart from when I open the hatch doors, the screen flickers black a couple of times whilst the hatch opens.

Also, when the game cuts out to the flash blacks, the screen goes black when the dogs are in the picture with the dogs being white and the screen black so I cant actually see anything!

Currently using XP and Geforce 8600 GT.
