Game lockup from battle screen

Hello all. I have been having a bit of an issue and was wondering if anyone has had the same and if so, if they were able to fix it. I have just started playing this game a couple of weeks ago and got to level 19 with few to no crash problems. I then hit the underground sea area in the dwarf lands and started to encounter a problem. After killing particular mobs, the game would go to the loading screen to get back to the game world but would lock up. This happened only once before in the game but it wasn't a big deal since i just skipped the mob but one mob that is bugged is the one that guards the gate to demonis and I can't get past it any other way which mean I can't get into demonis at all. I'm also starting to get lockups when I try and exit to main menu now. That's when it asks you if you're sure you want to quit and you press the check mark. I get a lockup when i pres the check mark. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Running ver 1.7 build 35398 btw

Also has anyone been able to activate the developers cheat codes? I was browsing through the forums and got a list of them but haven't been able to figure out how to activate them. One of the cheats is to kill all visible mobs on the map which would solve my bugged mob blockcing my entrance to demonis problem. Thx again for any help suggestions
