Bug with abandoned castle treasure

On my way to get the chest of rage from the magic academy, I also decided to pick up the treasure from the old castle; however, when I get back to King Mark, there simply is no dialogue option for returning the treasure back to him. In my previous games, I've always returned the chest first, and gone back to Verlon Forest to do other stuff later, including the abandoned castle; I've never brought the two items back simultaneously.

Seems like this is a bug. Has anyone else experienced this?
