Did you just drop the card in and go from there?
In my experience, although it's a bit dated now, it's always a good idea to completely remove the video card drivers before installing the new card. Then when the new card drops in, it can go in cleanly. Uninstall everything from nVidia from the Programs list. Download the latest drivers again. Install. Should kick things back into gear. If not... then there may be some setting with IL-2 specifically that might be causing an issue.
