Decreasing Enemy Tanks

Hello

I started playing on easy but i found that it was a little too unchallenging. Ive just moved up to normal.... but im finding the AI use far too may tanks on my positions!! I simply havent the resources to hold them back. Is there anything i can adjust to just tone back the AI and their tank use?
