JSGME Switcher Program

I have just gotten into the HsFX mods thing and am updated through 6.0.17.

After updating you are instructed to run the JSGME switcher and activate the HsFx History mod. The switcher shows a total of 14 available mods though including HsFx History. What are the others, what do they do, and should I really want some or all of them activated ?

I was searching for an explanation of these mods but haven't hit the right search result yet
