Password Incorrect (cd:260) when pass is correct

I have been attempting to access the multiplayer option on MoW AS ( I have played online on this game before ) and come up with a error "Passowrd Incorrect (cd:260)" during login. So I try the same password a couple of time, then I try my other passwords. After a while I change my pass to gamespy ( thats what it is asking me to login to ) and then restart game. I repeat the process of logging in with the new pass and it STILL doesn't work. I have begun to think that I was banned by accident or for no reason I am sure of. I have tried to play Multiplayer with mods i have installed for single player by accident and I hope i wasn't banned for that. Anyways HELP ME PLEASE! my friend just got the game and i really dont want to buy it again with a new username
