Video Issues - HD3850 AGP Texcompress and Mustangs

the above link goes to the discussion... New Vid card HIS HD3850 AGP when I set Texcompress to anything better then =2 I get this weird splotching in B,C and mkIII mustangs only. I know I need a new system, just a bandaid to carry me on to SOW.. Any Ides why it can't handle Texcompress=0 ??? and why it only effect the ponies I listed no other planes (that I know of so far) This is all stock 4.08M btw S!
