The CLOD engine does even look at Octane ! ... it has no knowledge of it.
It simply says If in this aeroplane then give +12Lbs Boost at max chat. Historically we know that +12Lbs Boost was only available to when using 100 octane fuel. So if you like the only RAF aeroplanes that are capeable of +12Boost are: Spitfire IIA (Because as default IRL it used 100 Octane Fuel) Spit IA 100 Octane Hurricane I 100 Oct All others give you +6.25Lbs Boost max chat to simulate 87 Octane fuel.
