Default Greece 1940

Now here is something for those of you who are bored brainless flying Spits and 109s back and forwards between Dover and Calais.

Greece has been transported to that little used section of the map which strangely resembles Normandy.

RAF types can guzzle retsina in the Tavernas of Athens (which someone says looks a bit like Cherbourg) while the spiffy Regia Aeronautica munch pasta in Volos.

And yes, in answer to your next question, you will get the finest planeset available in the Mediteranian sector..... as many Hurricanes, Blenheims, G50s and Bredas as you could wish to break. Now if you think that's not hardcore enough you may also get a chance to fly a Tiger Moth on recon to collect pictures of enemy groundforces.

We have a sophisticated stats collection system based on real life technology. So you will have to return to base to post guncam evidence and recon photos of your daring exploits.

The map is ready and we are now conducting testing and IL2 conversion training sessions on the server. So if you see the 69.GIAP server up drop in and join in the preparations.

Now we need squads and pilots interested in flying the campaign so that we can decide what nights to run it on and a start date.

Drop by www.69giap.com and post a hello in the Greece-1940 Forum we will then give you teamspeak access.
