Microsoft has time limited betas for some software so where is the problem. You have also stated that we should go on reviews by those that we trust with the sequel, who do we trust?. A lot of those posting in the forums could be classed as "fan boys", I certainly wouldn't trust their opinions. After seeing how the supporters of the Il2 series have been hung out to dry with the C.o.D. I certainly won't trust the developers with the sequel without proof, their specs will no longer mean anything to those who have waited 18 months only to be told that C.o.D. is finished.
