Quest: Expedition

Hello,

I am stuck at the "Expedition" Quest on the elven island. I bought the food (which is marked as done in the quest text), bought the required 25 elves and 5 ents (those are, despite being in my army still not greyed out) and bought a ship "for lengthy voyages" (which isn't greyed out as done either).

I also cannot locate Melfin anymore. If someone of you could tell me where Melfin is or could tell me what I am doing wrong, I would be very grateful.
