Good to hear guys - thanks.
I also feel the "Grittiness" on the MSFFB2, but it's so incredibly minute that I don't notice unless I'm looking for it. It's never affected my aim. I think the default FFB was just set really strong and it made the problem much worse. I wish I knew about this then! When I tried it out, it was so bad that I could not aim with it at all. =-\
