Hi Scooby!
I was mildly surprised to see this thread pop back up on the front page again! The problem was solved in the first replies to my request, in december last year. I just had to use the a.exe-file to install the game. I haven't had any other issues with Vista except that sometimes the machine turns itself on, if I have just used the "on/off"-lookalike button.
