I get this message each time I start the game, but I guess I am one of the "lucky ones" that does not have the CTD issues. So CTD may not necessarily be related to the above message., but I agree the above is a steam issue. system spec.: Microsoft Windows Vista(6.0.6002 sp2), HP-Pavilion, AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core processor, Memory 3GB Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT440
