Stationary Aircraft as spawn points

I have done a quick Forum search but no one mentions an issue In have when using Stationary Aircraft as Spawn point on a Dogfight Map. When I set this up you only get Default weapon load out from the arming page. I assume this is something I am not doing correctly or in the right order when setting up the map, or is that part of the feature ? any help would be appreciated.
