Multiplayer-pilotlogbook?

hey guys, since the beta patch or the mini hotfix, i noticed some changes in the interface.for example the 109E4 is for me no longer called this way, but 109E4/b.
then there are other terms for certain bullet types.
and the one im wondering about is a added option in the client section called "Pilotenlogbuch",in my german version(if i remember correctly).so it should be something like pilotslogbook.
its in the list which you can scroll through, to select the connection type like internet,lan,friends and so on.
i wondered what function this serves...any ideas?
