My desktop and game resolution are the same.1024x768,75hz,32 bit color.
While I think my video card(ATI HD 6850,1 gig) can handle higher resolutions I am not sure if my old 17' CRT can handle much more. The game brightness seems fine.It is just the 2d menu stuff and loading screens that seem dark. Low resolution causing the screen to be darker than at higher resolutions is a new one on me.Learn something new every day.
