I've just bought some Saitek Combat Pedals, and they came with the software disk, but I don't have a working DVD drive, so I need to download the software.
I went to the Saitek website here and there's only one download for Saitek pedals, regardless which model you have. I assume that's the right one, but given all the problems we all get with controls, I thought I'd check, so I phoned Saitek yesterday. They said they thought I should use the general download for rudder pedals, but said they'd email me back to confirm - they didn't. So I called again today, spoke to a different lady, and was told to download software from Cyborg instead. That's one piece of software regardless whether you are using it for a mouse, keyboard, joystick or pedals etc. I queried the software on the Saitek site and she said the Cyborg software received updates before the Saitek software would be update. So, does anyone here with experience of these pedals know if I should use the: Saitek Pedals software or the Cyborg software Thanks
