problem possible glitch?

Good Morning, (my time)
I am having a problem completing mission 1 in Men of War Soviet campaign.

Everything went fine in the demo but when I installed the game then added the patches I cannot get past the first mission. After the opening I immediately destroy the armoured car with anti-tank granades; however, the second part about fixing the track on the tank doesn't come. I can wander all over the map and pick up items but cannot progress to the nest stage. Is there a problem with the patches? Please advise,
