Toggle independent mode and TrackIR

F10 toggles this independent mode thing which seems to activate mouse ability for camera panning. Also it removes the mouse cursor and tooltips over gauges. All good so far I think...

Now, is there a way to solely toggle the tooltips/mouse cursor without activating mouselook?

Sometimes I want the cursor of course but a lot of the time it's in the way and when in-cockpit, pressing F10 to remove the cursor (and by doing so inadvertently activating mouselook) in conjunction with the fact that I use my mouse and TrackIR all the time is proving to be somewhat problematic! At first I thought my TIR was buggering around but in fact it was the mouse and the TIR fighting for control over the camera.

So right now I'm stuck with either living with the tooltip thingy permanently toggled (not ideal) or turning it off and not being able to use the mouse and TrackIR together. Confused.

Also, F9 for "toggle TrackIR"...this does what exactly? Doesn't seem to do anything.
