1. Elvis has left the building (Oleg is no longer operationally on the team).
2. The game runs great on my rig and many other with high en rigs. I stay above 50 fps in dogfights over London and down low over the City. A massive amount of bugs have been fixed in the last patch that came this week. 3. No other WWII sim is even close so what is the alternative? 4. Watch a video like this http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23041 and say which other sim does that? I just love the new complex engine management which blows IL2 to pieces.... and the rest.
