Steam Directory Installation?

I seem to have CoD installed twice in the Steamapps Folder. My Steamapps has a 'common' folder and another 'Steamapps' folder with a 'common' folder in that as well. Both Common folders have CoD ionstalled and identical. Is that right, seems weird?
