Default Feature I would most like to see implemented...

Hi all
After just reading Bearcat's post about gripes for iL2, which at the moment seems to be the AI behavior, a thought came back to me, which has constantly been niggling at me in this sim.
I would really like to have the ability to switch control of aircraft. I'm not sure how much this feature would detract from the 'sim' feel of the game, but I think it would be a great way to get around the superuber snipery of the AI gunners/AAA.
There's nothing more frustrating than flying a long ingress mission, only to be taken out by one of the sniper-like AI gunners, and this might be the way to lessen the damage factor of their behavior.
Maybe it could be implemented via a difficulty switch, ie ON/OFF, so that those who don't like this feature, simply don't use it.
Maybe it could be limited to just the a/c in my flight, or my squadron, or just any plane at all. I don't think it could be that hard to implement, but then again, I'm no programmer, so not too sure about that...
Anyway, I reckon that would be the feature I'd most like to see implemented, if for no other reason than to have a way to still play out a big mission once I have been sniped by some AI gunner several kilometres away.
