Some encouraging stuff, and the tracers look fine from where I am standing. Getting a little more excited about it now......Oleg can you give us any more info on how Chain home-chain home low radar and German Freya system will be implemented exactly, and in how much detail?

I know we are not getting a 'dynamic' campaign on first release, but what I would like to know is if eventually the 'battle of the beams' will be simulated at least in some rudimentary way? IE the possibility of German Radio navigation and Freya radar being 'spoofed' by British countermeasures like 'Mandrel' and 'Moonshine' etc.

German radio navigation was very effective early on (particulary raids like Coventry etc) but was eventually effectively thwarted and countered by various means. There are verifiable accounts of German bomber crews actually landing on British airfields hopelessly lost after British signal jamming, as many were not trained in other navigation methods and some thought they were actually landing in friendly territory! *You're nicked, son!*

I think this aspect of the war would be great to expand upon and would add a very interesting tactical element, we already have the Boulton defiants for 'Mandrel' in particular. Of course later in the war there is the 'night fighter' element too, with the consequent ECM battle that involved.

First things first of course.

Thanks.
