If you extended the usb lead the 5v power loss would /could affect it, use a powered usb hub (http://www.power-on.co.uk/ProductDet...ProductID=5563) nearer to your stick for better forces rather than messing around inside the sick.
Nope, I extended the shaft - not the usb wire. Either way, the power for force feedback comes from an AC plug, not usb.
