Like others said, it just doesn't "translate" completely from the real world into a video game. That, and despite what you see on the screen, what you are doing really has about zero in common with the "real thing" . I raced motorcycles for years, but struggled a lot with on-bike Motogp / same with cars and karts but Forza was a trick too. You get none of the tactile input when you play a game, not to mention no peripheral vision, g sensations, sense of location in space, etc.

Force feed back, those head tracking sets etc are closing the gap, but until a a driver / rider / pilot can sit down at the console and not miss a beat transitioning, we'll have to live with the compromises.

That said, this game by far is the closest to real flying of any I've played on a console! Love the fact you don't fly circles forever chasing each other like in BF1942
