New... Again

Hey guys I have been flying since I could remember, but with work and school I took a break. ( about 2 years) I have now started back and was wondering what all I needed as far as updates and other downloads in order to play on the internet.

I am putting windows on my Mac later tonight. Lost my copy of Forgotten battles, should I get it again or go for the regular IL-2? I know that being out of the loop can cause some serious headaches, so any help would be much appreciated!
