I think that part of the current problem is the advanced use of shaders being implemented in this sim. It is apparently not nearly as simple as it used to be to apply AA in a modern game. For a bit more of a technical explanation, and examples of the various methods employed, have a look at http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...deon,2868.html I am currently running in full screen mode, but notice no improvement over the basic 2xAA, even when forcing it in the driver. It appears as though that this is all that it is currently capable of.

One other strange thing I have found is the application of ‘Morphological’ AA – it’s supposed to have a minimal impact on frame rates as it isn’t ‘true’ AA, but has a marked impact on fps in this case, and doesn’t look very good either.

And don’t give up on CoD just yet; I don’t know if you have witnessed the improvements to date, but they have been impressive (maybe not individually, but overall). I am enjoying the single player enormously, but haven’t tried on-line (no local servers yet). From this I can only deduce that it will be much better before too long!
