Default Official SoW gameplay? (I searched already)

hello fellow Oleg-niks,
What sort of gameplay do we look forward to in SoW_BoB? I searched and found several commendable efforts to sort this out, but nothing conclusive. With September drawing close, I wonder if anyone can describe game play in SoW? I mean officially of course.
thanks,
Flyby out

I believe Flyby is referring to September because there are apparently new screenshots on the way at this time according to Oleg (which may or may not be actual gameplay screenshots). I think Oleg said they would be in game screens. Don't remember the exact quote, and I can't be bothered to look for it, lol.

The only referral to September I know of is this:

Doug: A few more questions (for now) on Storm of War: Battle of Britain before we move to the next topic area.

You said recently you want it released for the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. That would be in September 2010.
Are you confident flight simmers around the world will be flying Storm of War: Battle of Britain in October 2010?

Oleg: Yes, it is our general plan. Maybe it will arrive earlier. I can't say right now the exact date. But by October 2010 (if not before) Storm of War: Battle of Britain should have many thousands of users.

I may have the September thing wrong. I thought I recalled that some screens and info might be released this coming Sept_09. Orville is thinking as I am on this point. But the focus of my question is still in wanting to know about SoW's game play. I wonder how it will be different it will from IL2? Maybe I'll just go back and reread that latest interview.

Your not wrong, originally Oleg had planned to release this September but that went the same way has the 2007 release, however he recently said in a thread over at Simhq that he would be showing in game screen shots from september on, given that the game is 80% finished Oleg should have no problem delivering this time. Unless of course the screen shots go the same way has system specs, dedicated website etc, etc,.

I hope so.

I read a comment about nothing new and exciting in flight sims except RoF, and I thought -what crap. We've got BS, and A10 coming, plus Falklands sim soon.

I kind of forgot about BoB for good 30 seconds.
