Thanks for the link!

The problem is: will RoF be out before of SoW?

SimHQ had something to test: Sow should be in prebeta now...

I wish that there is no more Updates since Oleg's building a real preview by his own (something like the bonus DvD of 1946).

Thanks Tvrdi, I've been looking forward to this one for a while. Looks like it will be worth the wait.

I thought this was interesting and encouraging about the specs. Posted over at the simHQ forums.

NECyclone: Hey Viks, can you tell us the Quad Cores you were using? Were they the i7's or the older quads like the Q9650?

Thanks

=FB=VikS:Older ones, will tell which one exactly tomorrow.

=FB=VikS: So, it was Core Quad 9450 @ 2,66 vs Core Duo E6750 @ 2,66

The only caveat is he doesn't mention the fps but with just the 9450 adding an increase in performance and taking into consideration the reviewers rig (e8200 @ 3.21Ghz) it looks like one won't have to undertake a huge upgrade in order to play this sim with most to all the bells and whistles. Here's hoping.
I wonder however if the reviewer had used a quad core how much more of a resolution he could have used. Things are still looking good.

I'm so all over this.

With this release and SOW, IL2 will be nothing but a fond memory.
