Default request, P-47 with AP/HVAR rockets

I realize that this combo, with lower drag rocket option (after release), would have been with P-47 N models in real life. But, it would be nice to have for at least one of the P-47 D models. There's two versions of bubbletop P-47 Ds anyhow.

(I always thought that one of those late models represented the N, but that's just the impression I've gotten?)

It could also have been the P-47 D-30 models which were retrofitted with HVAR (instead of high drag rocket tubes)

But I digress...

The P-47D with no block number is meant to represent a field modified "hot rodded" P-47. It's performance is supposed to be somewhat similar to the P-47M.

The P-47N is a sort of different beast with more power, weight, fuel, revised wings, etc. I'd love to have it as it played a role in the summer of 1945. Not sure if its part of the embargo of N-G related properties or not.

I don't think so.

Certainly, the P-47 deserves a good renovation of its loadouts display.
It's a huge stuff considering the large range of bombs, rockets and drop tanks.
And after it could be relevant to publish the -N version, I think.

Just my 2 cents, of course.

It would also be great to have a new cockpit from which to view these rockets launching

The P-47D-40 if implemented would fit the bill for carrying the HVAR rockets on the zero length stubs, but it also features the dorsal tail fillet for added stability, under wing dive brakes, and may have included a K-14 gunsight. Would likely be a significant addition rather than a quick modification.
