It is interesting and appreciable that someone is working on such an ambitious sim.
Unfortunately without publishers support and the capability to touch inside parts of the code it's unlikely that CLOD will be the reference point for WWII simmers like the original IL2 was.
WWII simmers are a niche. It's not good to have several empty simulations, what the community needs is a project to make the community gather around it.
I hope to be wrong but It seems difficult that they will have the opportunity to go beyond a refinement.

So even before 3 months after CLOD´s development was cancelled we get a patch that fixes the main issues and more.

An all ppl can say is "meh" "logo is no nice" " only eye candy" ?!?!?!?!?

How about thanking the guys making a great effort to make this available for everyone?

Here is a clue, you will be able to enjoy BOS AND patched CLOD

Personally looking forward to this more than BoS, at the moment.

Is thanks but I still have less PC than can run it. At this time I can barely run IL-2 and that not with full-range views. My half-decent graphics card died as life got more expensive.

Same here, so I won't benefit from it. Maybe one day. But what makes me shiver is things like "HD high altitude clouds effects", "enhanced landscape and vegetation", "enhanced cockpits and refelction" etc. ... without really being able to rework deeply in game code (and I know, they are not able), using larger textures is probably all they can do, which would mean, my new PC must be even more expensive, if I want to be happy about this 'patch'. See... is CLoD really looking so badly, that these have to be priorities? I think, I see, where they are heading to.

But I grumble before I have really seen it, I know, and I shouldn't do that. Its just a supposing. I will wait with a final conclusion until I have done a honest check up - and also with thanking.

How do you know that? It's simply not true
The first thing headlined in the video is "corrected flight models".

I said appreciable. Honestly thinking a great thanks is more appropriate.
I am sad that such a great motivation has markets interests against it.
None will allow Clod to compete with BOS by allowing access to inner code of the sim.

For a guy who can't run the sim, how is it that you know so much more than anyone else about it? How is it that you know what the team priorities are? How is it that you above all others know what can and can't be done in the remodelling?

Talk is pretty cheap!

Take another careful long look at the video and pay attention to the text lines accompanying and also "listen".
