Actually, if you look at the actual CLOD, everything except clouds and weather made it into release, but the PCs were not capable performance wise. Maybe in a few years we will get back to clod engine.

Cloud generator was in the release and worked OK, the only weather available was thunderstorms though.

It's also very clear from that video that the map was redone for the release version. Why I don't know. (game was still Open GL at that point - and they probably didn't have to use Speed Tree then either!)

I watched that video that came with il-2 46 many times and was hugely excited by it. I love the way the terrain looks in the video - that was what I was expecting. Would have been very happy if we'd got it.

LOFT mentioned that he is in charge of CloD now and even thinks about how to make a Win8 compatibility patch for CloD. Contact him if they can send a request to NV through their channels. Should not take more than 5 minutes probably.

Clearly this is not their priority.

Have all of you that have and are using Sli tried Luthier's Sli code release?, if not give it a try, I have installed it and it is working for me.

Would still like to see some official support from Nvidia though.

Are you giving up on Sli Katdog or just upgrading?. I'm running 2 x GTS 450's and have good performance. Your GTX 460's should be great for C.o.D. in Sli, they will eat B.o.S. with the engine they will be using.

Upgraded to 670. I wanted to murder this damn sim once and for all, no questions asked.

Getting ready to fly some campaigns

Im glad you got it going...for some reason my rig didnt like the Nvidia Profiler
