Default Dear Devs

Could you please realize that your most devoted fans are also very superstitious..... When you deliberately release a half-untested product we will forgive you! We love you and this game after all...... However you are sorely testing our loyalty when your patches require us to restart our dream playthroughs every time...... Now that it is over 1 month from the original release date........Please remember this next time you patch and provide us with the tools to edit our saves.........
Yours faithfully

I loathe restarting, but I will let you know if my "current" saved games get fairly far instead of requiring build 6249 restart.

Hopefully I will find out fairly soon as I am progressing pretty fast now.

I gotta support travelingoz on this one. I shelved the game until everything's fixed. Rather than ride the bugs, there are plenty of other games worth playing - Civ 5, XCOM, Skyrim, Faster than Light and Orcs Must Die 1&2 are providing much more fun then WotN right now... Which is a shame. If I wasn't a KB junkie, why the hell would I have over 1300 posts to my name now... And all of them in the KB forums...

At least they should be honest. If this had been basically a beta phase you could play as preorder bonus, people would've been fine with those bugs.

But getting an actual release with this many bugs and issues popping up everywhere is not something that will encourage further purchases.

I get some bugs in new units active/passive abilities , or bugged quests, or even bad translations in game. But in case things that worked in the Legend, and Armored princess/Crossworlds like some spells (pygmy , enchanted hero) or not fixed skill mechanics from 3 year old Ap (onslaught bonus adrenalin for orcs) are ridiculous to mention.
I mean wtf were they doing with old functional mechanics to mess it up in this release, or wtf didnt they do to transfer old errors into this game.

And, because of this trend, I'm not sure if some of the 'balance designs' issues are just outstanding bugs!

Archdemons only have 666 HP now. I realize that might have been the case in King's Bounty the Legend (never played that one), but in Armored Princess they have 766. While 666 is a cute number, they really do need more HP.

That's the bizarre thing. Pygmy did work! Somehow it broke. I wonder if they went back to an older revision of the code to fix another issue/bug and couldn't retro fix stuff.

Between The Legend, Armored Princess, and Crossworlds I've put in about 1,000 hours into the series. I felt each one was better than the last, though I also felt that Crossworlds was a terrible value for what you got over Armored Princess.

But this game...this is extremely disappointing. After putting about 40 hours into WotN I've decided to hang it up and play something else instead. Hopefully in a month or two or several this game will get several improvements, but I half feel that the devs rushed out a half-baked product with the idea that the community was going to fix their mistakes for them. I feel it's a real slight to fans of the series.

I can say without much doubt the following:

1. The quality of this game is such that first-time players may be turned off immediately from past and future games in the series.

2. The quality of the game is such that veterans of the series may be turned off from buying the next game in the series for at least the first 6 months.

It's too bad...I wish the devs well and don't mean to be so negative towards the game, but there's no good excuse for what's been given to us. It's barely beta test quality, but we all paid a retail price.

the notes do say they "corrected" the spell, among several others. I've only noticed any change to the listed spells at all, nor did I notice anything wrong with them before the patch.

Now a patch introducing new bugs isnt anything new to me, but I really dont get why they tinkered with spells that didnt seem to be bugged in any way before this, at least not in any significant way. they should be focusing on the bigger issues first, especially those that can only be patched to affect a new save.

I definitely agree with fatt shade's post - but archdemons (and tier 5 in general) were way too strong in AP/CW and they needed a nerf (like demons from TL-->AP). The removal of rune mages (CW ones anyway) is what hurts them in the transition over. Their stats per leadership are still well above par even with the reduced health.
