Fascinating stuff. At the very end he mentions the future concept of tapping into iPhone5 (or -6, or -7, I suppose) technology for wireless convenience, plus the certain improvements of GPU technology and miniaturization, etc.

He's a smart man.

For $500 for the kit he mentions I'd be willing to give it a go. It's not that far out of reach when you consider the cost of tripple screen gaming or buying one large screen or even a projector. None of those could compete for immersion against a VR headset.

Interesting, I even felt a twinge of geek as he explained it all. Pleased to know he thinks this is a technology that's going to mature in the next few years rather than be something that's hovering on or over the horizon.
