Default Use "JS General Mod Enabler" to install and test beta patch and mods safely

I don't know if using JSGME to install & test patches and/or mods has been discussed in this forum before, but this little utility makes it very easy to install/uninstall patches or mods for testing and/or keeping.

I've been successfully using this utility with CloD and various other Games, being sure to always have a clean basic game installation 'beneath' the mods/patches to return to, in case something goes wrong.

JSGME is no longer being further developed, but you can find the most recent version here: www.gamefront.com/files/21681483/JSGME.7z

Believe me, it makes testing and using patches and mods soo much easier, especially when adding up several mods on top of each other, ie. making a 'mod soup'.

Cheers

Hi adonys,

very good info behind yr signature! Sorry for my ignorance not to dig into that earlier, but maybe the info is catching some more attention now.

As a Finnish saying goes: "Repeating is the mother of learning"

I've tried Adony's suggested method and it works brilliantly, the only way to do it in my oppinion.
