Bought the game on release, and, even with last patches, it isn't more than a quick skirmish generator (with 2 choices: over the channel with good FPS; over land with bad FPS).

Obviously i won't buy the expansion at launch, i'll wait for several reviews, etc., but i do hope they do a great job. Also, i'll disregard any promised feature not on release... "to be implemented on later patches" may be some years from the release.

I returned to flight-sims full of hope for this title, I've invested thousands of the banks' money into hardware but now I'm off to level a Gnome, or maybe a Dwarf.

Septic (AKA Fearless Hengist Thunderhorn, have sword, will travel)

Have you even read the update? Here:

"This week we have completed all the planned work on the patch"

Sitting right there on their hard drives. But releasing another beta patch for public testing is no go, because you know.. have to "assemble" it first, which will take a couple of months.

"This week we have completed all the planned work on the patch"...but not completed the internal testing.

Respectfully, this is not an Update for CloD.
It's SPAM for BOM.

BOM should have it's own Forum.

Further, It's long past due, to provide more accurate
and better communication on the pace and process of
fixing CloD. How about a time line to completion?

I am back to flying 1946. The last 15 months has been
a waste of my time and money with CloD. I believe that
BOM portends the same.

If MG can't speed up the development? Then they need
to rapidly ramp up the communication.

Development is a process. Communication is a choice.

I am standing by...a little bit longer.

What an awful update even if we could believe it, and I too noticed the immediate reaction - 1 'thanks' followed by reaction to the news that, YET AGAIN, all deadlines suggested are missed/ignored. The "Performance patch" which we waited 5 months for consisted of just removing things that caused lag, to be told it's not a Beta but and Alpha and is so bad that it's not even been put up into Steam updates. When you think about it can anybody provide an example when something has been delivered on the day that they said it would?

Nobody has any faith in the vacuous rhetoric repeated over and over again - The team have shot their bolt, nothing can be trusted.
